COVID-19 POLICY AND PROCEDURES
EverStrong Therapy’s mission is to improve the wellness of our community. In that light, as we resume our in person visits, we ask that our employees and clients follow specific guidelines in order to reduce the spread of infection and help keep our entire community safe.
Providers are required to:
- Sanitize surfaces of contact, or pieces of equipment to be used, including treatment tables,
exercise machines, yoga/exercise mats, resistance bands, machines and free weights.
- Wear a face covering, which could consist of a cloth mask, surgical mask, or respirator such
as N95 if possible.
- Schedule patients with at least 15 minutes between appointments in order to allow for full
sanitization and decrease risk of contact between different patients
- Wear a sanitized face shield.
- Clean face shield if vision becomes obstructed to ensure safety
- Wear disposable gloves for each patient. After patient contact, gloves must be safely disposed
of and hands sanitized or washed with soap and water.
- Select examination measures and treatment interventions that minimize patient contact when
possible and clinically appropriate.
- Provide TeleHealth services as an option to those who are unable or unwilling to come into the
clinic for care.
Patients are asked to adhere to the following guidelines:
- Arrive at scheduled time in order to minimize contact with previous patient
- Answer the health and consent forms honestly and carefully each visit.
- Bring and wear a cloth or surgical mask from home during the visit and maintain the covering
throughout the visit.
- If the face mask has to be removed for any reason, the patient is asked to step at least 6 feet
away from other people until the mask is safely back in place.
- Bring your own water bottle rather than using the water fountain.
- Sanitize or wash hands with soap and water before and after the session.
- Leave promptly after the conclusion of the session in order to avoid potential contact with the
next patient
